The Standard LBV is a great addition to any law enforcement organisation. It is an “off the shelf” vest, ready for you to order and has plenty of handy pockets and features. Some of these include a first aid kit pouch, reflective tape (front and back), ability to add your patch with a logo, two-way radio holder and numerous areas to mount your mic or body cam. (All the specs and features are shown below).

Genuine 3M reflective tape and YKK Zips for increased durability
Five external pouches (for handcuffs, 2-way radio, phone, 1st aid kit/glove pocket, torch, water bottles)
Sizes: SML, M/L or XL+ (with adjustable shoulder and waist tabs*). The Vests are a generous fit due to undergarments/cold weather wear sometimes being required to be worn under these. We recommend sizing as follows: SML for small to medium/large male builds, M/L for large to extra large male builds and XL+ for extra large to 4xl builds (understanding that cold weather wear may change your required sizing and all body shapes are different!).

The weight distribution of the LBV is ideal to minimise strain and discomfort on the waist and lower back, often caused from a heavily equipped duty belt. An LBV also enables a quick and easy removal of an officer’s equipment, the ability to add equipment, and a much sturdier platform for if body-worn camera recordings are taking place. Vehicle access is also greatly enhanced when using an LBV as opposed to a duty belt, where equipment is often caught on the seat or seat belt upon entering or leaving a vehicle.
